The Ormonde Court project is a meticulous restoration and redesign of a first-floor apartment located in a Victorian white stucco building in Belsize Park, London. Initially poorly configured and stripped of its original charm due to years of neglect and misguided refurbishment, the apartment's main living and dining area once exuded grandeur typical of its Victorian heritage.
To recapture this essence of luxury, the restoration focused on reintegrating original features such as mouldings, wall paneling, and architectural elements. A reclaimed French fireplace, chosen for its period authenticity, adds an international touch, complemented by carefully selected furnishings including a sofa designed by Piero Lissoni.
A serene color palette enhances the tranquil atmosphere, while bespoke joinery and discreetly integrated modern amenities ensure a seamless blend of old-world charm and contemporary comfort. Upgraded with the latest technology in lighting, acoustic insulation, and comfort features, the Ormonde Court apartment now embodies a harmonious balance of historic elegance and modern convenience.
